Heather was born and raised in Texas. As a child she spent many Summers at her grandmother's, aka Nanny, house in Louisiana shopping farmer's markets for fresh produce and meat. That experience instilled in her the importance of supporting local community. She spent many hours in the kitchen helping Nanny make dinners for the extended family. That was where her love for cooking and entertaining began. Heather met her husband, Robert, while working in the hospitality industry. They moved all over the country over the course of their marriage finally settling in Colorado in 2009. The moves gave Heather the chance to organize numerous hospitality events for different organizations in multiple states. The opportunity to reconnect to cooking and entertaining on a professional level was offered her in 2010. Heather's experience and love for helping others spills over into her and her husband's company, Sugar Pine.

Having grown up in a family who owned and operated a chain of restaurants in Texas, Robert learned all facets of the service industry. Most importantly, he learned the importance of an unforgettable customer experience. From the service industry, he next decided to attend law school. After practicing healthcare law and working in hospital administration for over 16 years, Robert decided to return to what truly made him happy—the service industry. What a better partner to team up with than his beautiful wife, Heather, to start Sugar Pine Catering. Robert, a certified mixologist, draws on his operational skills to oversee the “back of the house.”

Bailey was born in Longview, Texas, but was raised in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. After visiting Boulder for a ski trip, she knew Colorado was where she wanted to be. She was drawn to mixology after seeing some of the cocktail creations her dad, who is also a mixologist, had done. Once she became apart of the Sugar Pine team, she was able to bring more and more of her own cocktails to life. she loves to travel the world, attend concerts and music festivals, and spend time with her Golden Retriever, Lo. Seeing her cocktail creations come to life on these special days makes me so happy. Mixology is a passion of hers, and it’s such a treat to be able to share it with others!
